As this is a general board and nobody has posted anything yet I thought I would start by saying only 7 days to go until summer holidays I really hope this fantastic weather stays for the summer and that everyone has a lovely break before the madness of September Oh and if anyone has any handy tips or super cheap places to take the kids I would be really grateful for some new ideas. We have done so many farms, and zoo's and parks I am starting to run out of ideas!

Sandringham Country park has free parking, play area for children, shops, café & toilets. Plus loads of space for footy, cricket etc and lovely walks.
High Lodge between Thetford & Brandon is costly in parking, but fab activity/play area for children of all ages as well as picnic area.
Bury St Edmunds Abbey Gardens has bird aviaries, play area, river as well as pretty gardens and Bury is a delight for shopping, pretty too.
North Norfolk coast. I could spend hours in Holt and walking around Wells, but probably not child friendly. The walk to the beach in Wells will wear them out though.
Fun to Play indoor play area in Thetford & Planet Zoom in Dereham. Great for children even better for mum to have a well earned coffee whilst the offspring are entertained!
Have Fun!! Sadie.

We love High Lodge. It costs £10 to park all day but once you're there you can have a cheap day if you take a picnic, bat and ball, bikes etc.

Hello everyone. Hope all is well! I don't know if it's just me or has the home page for Qualified Ed's website changed? I couldn't see the link for this forum on there but maybe it has just moved. Any thoughts?

Thanks Sadie, but where is it? It used to be at the bottom of the page didn't it? I had to get on via a link on an old e-mail from Georgina.

Sorry can't actually help, I did have a look around the website though and couldn't find the link either. It does seem to have disappeared!
