Is anyone willing to share suggestions for evidence they have used for standard 6.4? I'm really struggling to think of anything

Hi Rachel, I don't know if this is relevant to your setting (I work in the EYFS) but I used an example of parent questionnaires which we distribute during our come and play sessions. The teachers and the TA's look through them together and format a plan/respond to the queries if there are any. In addition to this we send home the children's learning journeys at the end of each half term for the parents to look through and again we make a comment page for the parents. We always reply to comments in these too.
I hope this helps, Yvonne

Thanks for that Yvonne, your response has helped me to see this standard from a school point of view and given me some ideas. Cheers.

Hi Rachel,
I've written this once and I hit delete in error doh!
Remember the customer is both the child and parent. Some examples you could use are as follows:
Correspondence through home school diary to parent/carer re: homework/trip/illness/behaviour etc etc. Phone call home re: illness. Feedback from any interventions you run with the child either direct to parent or to teacher/school for pupil's records. Parent's evening involvement. Have you been involved in managing behaviour on one to one basis, maybe by implementation of a reward system? After discussions with parents either by yourself or CT?
These are all contributing factors to making the customer happy and keeping them informed. Therefore improving customer service.
I write a column for our local paper, informing the general public of the great stuff we're up to as a school, this improves customer service, by keeping the customer informed.
Hope this helps. Well done to Yvonne too, for her wise words. :-)

Hi Rachel, you're welcome. I hope you can apply these ideas (from Sadie too) to your own examples. Good luck
