Format for PDJ

Hi Everyone, quite a few of you have asked can they use an alternative method for creating their PDJ- rather than using the pro forma on Ecordia. YES, feel free to complete your PDJ in whatever style/layout suits you. The important thing to remember when writing your journal is to reflect honestly on your practice; this is the whole idea behind keeping a PDJ. It should be a written record of your practice and how you have reflected on and improved/changed what you do for the benefit of the children you support. Now that you all have a word count, use those words carefully. Don't give great big long descriptions of your lesson, a brief summary is all that is required. The majority of your writing should be in the evaluation of your practice- not what you did, but how/what you've learned or will improve/change as a result of  the lesson
