Does anyone know if it's ok to use Wikipedia as a source? Trying to find quotes about micro-teaches for the assignment but can't find much at all on the internet. I can only find 2 books that have been written on the subject but they are both proper books which I would have to buy and then wait for. I was hoping for at least a kindle edition but there aren't any. there are a lot of facts about micro-teaches on the web but no actual quotes so am I allowed to quote Wikipedia?

I think Karen said you could, but not 100% on that. I've just gone on websites about micro teaching and taken sections off them for quotes. Most of them have names and dates on.

Yes, you can use Wikipedia, however, be careful. it sometimes isn't accurate. Always double check your source. Don't use it more than once for quotes- so as to ensure you look at different evidence sources

Was wondering if the level four advanced TA is equivalent to the HLTA?

I am happy to see Wikipedia used, but I agree with Karen - use a mix of different sources and always double check your information whatever the source!

Look on the TES website and search for documents to help you. I see every a hard of copy of the TES as we have it at school. Lots of interesting articles in there about all sorts of educational issues. :-)
